Safer, more economical and attractive van for Bulgarian clients

The assembly line at the factory in Dusseldorf got the first series-produced Sprinter new generation. After more than 8 million kilometers tests and over 25 million Euro of investments in the two production centers in Dusseldorf and Ludwigsfelde, Germany Mercedes-Benz Sprinter opens a new chapter in the success story of the model.

Five new assistance and safety systems, including three premiers in Van segment

Since its premier in 1995 Sprinter successfully built a reputation as a pioneer in the field of assistance and safety systems. In 1995 Mercedes-Benz is the first producer that installed an ABS in light commercial vehicle. In 2002 another innovation occurred in van segment - Electronic Stability Program (ESP), which in 2006 was transformed in ADAPTIVE ESP. All these features contribute for the record sales of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It became the best-selling van with over 2.5 million vehicles sold in the past 18 years.

The world premiere of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is marked by Crosswind Assist, Collision Prevention Assist and Blind Spot Assist as part of the standard equipment of the vehicle. Two new systems are also available - Highbeam Assist and Lane Keeping Assist. In addition Mercedes-Benz increase the dynamic characteristics of Sprinter.

The first van with Euro 6 emission standard engine

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is the first light commercial vehicle whose product range is in line with the requirements of the future Euro 6 emission standards. The power of the diesel engines remains the same: 4 and 6 cylinders engines which provide power from 70 kW (95 hp.) to 140 kW (190 hp). As an alternative to the diesel Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is available with 1.8-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with direct injection, providing 115 kW (156 hp). The model is also available in a version of natural gas with identical characteristics. To transmit the power of the new Sprinter are used 6-speed ECO Gear manual transmission or 7-speed 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission - the only one of its kind offered in the van.

6,3 l/100 km fuel consumption and service maintenance at 60 000 km

The combination of highly efficient diesel engines, optimized transmissions, additional equipment and BlueEFFICIENCY Plus package provides a minimum average fuel consumption of 6,3 l/100 km - a record for a vehicle in the segment.

In addition in the standard equipment of the new Sprinter is included the ASSYST supporting board computer which helps the service period of the vehicle to be increased to 60 000 km.

Impressive design

Visually the new Sprinter creates the impression of clear and robust design. In the style of Mercedes-Benz design line the radiator grille looks more upright and standing more confidently. The three holes for ventilation are pushed back and perforated. The headlights have a more pronounced outline and particularly impressive is the mask of the reflector casing that separates the headlights of individual segments. The new bonnet is higher and respectively safer for pedestrians. Unquestionably  perfect interior of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is now complemented by a new seat upholstery and a new coat for even more comfort. The grip of the steering wheel is more convenient and stable thanks to the thickened end. The air inlets have chrome finishing. The gear lever has also new design. The new Sprinter is offered by lots of high quality electronic systems such as Bluetooth and Becker MAP PILOT navigation system.
