INTRODUCTION


Balkan Star has been operating on the Bulgarian market for 16 years. Balkan Star Automotive is a company of the Willi Betz Group. It was established in 1992 as a general distributor for Mercedes-Benz in Bulgaria. Today, Balkan Star offers vehicles of various manufacturers and products within the price range from EUR 5000 to EUR 500,000.
Balkan Star sells new and used vehicles, both passenger cars and commercial vehicles, spare parts and services for the product range of Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Setra, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Mitsubishi and Mitsubishi Fuso. The company also offers various financial facilities and bay-back.
In its capacity as authorized dealer, Balkan Star has three branches in Bulgaria – in Sofia, in Plovdiv and in Varna. The number of personnel was increased over the years, and currently the company has more than 700 employees in its outlets throughout the country.

HIGHLIGHTS


Balkan Star commissioned its new sales and service centre in Varna on June 12, 2008. The company invested close to EUR 7 million in land, buildings and equipment in its largest and most modern Balkan Star Automotive facility in Bulgaria.

The sale and service centre is located at the Hemus highway, close to the Varna Airport. The facility was designed according to European criteria and fully complies with the standards maintained by Daimler AG, Chrysler LLC and Mitsubishi Motors Corp. Construction works were launched in June 2007 and were completed a year after that. The total area of the complex amounts to 23,330 sq. m., of which 8,021 sq. m. of premises. The main building consists of 4 blocks and includes trading and service units for the car makes on sale. The building is surrounded by functionally zoned transport and open-air service facilities as well as landscaped areas.
