Balkan Star is a company of the Willi Betz Group. The company entered the automotive sector in Bulgaria in 1992 as a general distributor for Mecedes-Benz. The operations of Balkan Star operations after Bulgaria joined the European Union in 2007 are divided into two distribution levels – wholesale and retail. Restructuring is in progress in the following new companies: Balkan Star Automotive Ltd, Balkan Star Motors Ltd and Balkan Star Remarketing Ltd.
Balkan Star Automotive is the official representative of Daimler AG and the US company Chrysler Group LLC. As of June 2009 ã. the company is managed by Manfred Multz, CEO and Chairman of the Board and Plamen Mitev, CEO and Chairman of the Board and procurators Katja Bojanova, Executive Director, sales Passenger cars, Plamen Ivanov - Executive Director, sales Commercial vehicles.
Balkan Star Motors represents Mitsubishi Motors Europe B.V. (ÌÌÅ) in Bulgaria. The company is managed by Plamen Mitev and Orlin Mladenov. The company deals with the sale and marketing of Mitsubishi passenger cars, spare parts and accessories, as well as with various scheme for financing the purchase of new vehicles.
Balkan Star Remarketing Ltd offers its customers a comprehensive selection of used passenger cars and light-and heavy-duty trucks. The company, managed by Plamen Mitev and Plamen Ivanov, offers also the full range of services of the Balkan Star group of companies – after-sale services, buy-back options, and various forms of financing.
